At the age of five, Vlad moved to the United States, initially residing in Massachusetts and later settling in San Mateo, California. As a youth, Vlad was interested in hip hop when N.W.A released their debut album.

Vlad initially produced hip hop beats and did not continue with it when he felt he would not be able to succeed in it. He tried on his friend’s equipment and started DJing.
